Red Hot Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil 250 ml
Red Hot Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made to bring controlled heat to food rather than simply making every dish hotter. The warmth of fresh red pepper appears quickly, followed by the fruit and natural peppery finish of early-harvest olive oil. The result is direct but not one-dimensional. When used with restraint, it gives food energy, length and a cleaner final taste without hiding the ingredients that were carefully cooked.
Why Co-Pressing Matters
Selected olives and fresh hot red peppers are processed and pressed together on the same day. The peppers are not stirred into finished olive oil later. During co-pressing, the two ingredients are handled as one, allowing the heat to become evenly integrated throughout the oil. This produces a more consistent result and prevents the pepper from tasting separate or superficial. The olive remains present, supporting the heat rather than disappearing beneath it.
Controlling the Level of Heat
A hot finishing oil should be added gradually. Begin with a few drops, taste the dish and then decide whether more is needed. Soft ingredients such as yoghurt, cheese, eggs and pulses round out the heat, while tomatoes, vinegar and lemon make the pepper feel brighter. The correct quantity therefore depends not only on personal tolerance but also on the balance of fat, acidity, salt and sweetness already present in the recipe.
From Breakfast to Dinner
Use it on poached eggs, Turkish-style eggs, avocado toast and warm bread for a lively breakfast. Add it after cooking to pizza, penne arrabbiata, tomato pasta, lentil soup, beans, chickpeas and roasted potatoes. A thin final line also works well on grilled beef, chicken, prawns and charred vegetables. Adding it close to serving time keeps the pepper clear and gives the cook better control over the final level of heat.

For burgers, barbecue dishes and charred vegetables that benefit from a darker finish, consider Smoked Hot Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The Spicy Olive Oil Set brings the three different approaches together for side-by-side use.
Storage
Keep the oil in a cool, dry and dark cupboard. Areas exposed to regular temperature changes, including spaces beside the hob, above the oven or near a sunny window, are unsuitable. Close the cap firmly after use to limit contact with air and help retain the fresh pepper character. Natural cloudiness may appear at low temperatures and will clear as the oil returns to room temperature. Do not allow water, wet utensils or other food to enter the container.
