Hot Pepper and Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 250 ml
Hot pepper and garlic are frequently used together, but balancing these two powerful ingredients is not always easy. Too much garlic may flatten the freshness of the pepper, while excessive heat can push the savoury depth of the garlic into the background. Dardanos Fine Foods Hot Pepper and Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil balances both elements over the fruit of early-harvest olive oil. It gives food warmth and depth in one controlled finishing step.
Three Ingredients Co-Pressed on the Same Day
Selected olives, fresh hot peppers and garlic are processed and pressed together on the same day. Pepper and garlic are not two separate ingredients mixed into finished olive oil. Their integration during production distributes both heat and savoury depth evenly throughout the product. This produces a more consistent result from one use to the next and prevents either ingredient from appearing disconnected from the olive oil.
Finishing Pizza and Pasta
Once pizza leaves the oven, distribute a few drops between the centre and the crust. Add it at the serving stage to tomato pasta, arrabbiata, aglio e olio or mushroom pasta. If the sauce already contains hot pepper and garlic, reduce the amount of oil. On cheese-heavy pizza it helps cut through richness, while on simpler tomato recipes the pepper and garlic become easier to identify.
Soups, Meze, Meat and Seafood
Use it after serving lentil soup, tomato soup and pulse dishes. A few drops are enough for hummus, roasted aubergine, yoghurt-based meze and hot pepper spreads. Added after cooking, it supports grilled chicken, beef, calamari and prawns with the fuller character of garlic. On delicate fish, use a smaller quantity so that the heat does not become more noticeable than the fish itself.
Change the Balance of Pepper and Garlic
For a result led more clearly by hot pepper, explore Red Hot Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For garlic depth without pepper heat, choose Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. When a darker barbecue direction is required, Smoked Hot Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil provides a different finish.
Storage
Store the oil in a cool, dry and dark cupboard. Heat, light and prolonged contact with air may weaken the character of the fresh ingredients. Close the cap firmly after every use. Do not keep the product beside the hob or oven, and do not add fresh pepper, garlic, water or sauces. Cloudiness or solidification caused by cold temperatures will naturally clear at room temperature.
