Dardanos Fine Foods Barbecue Set
Good barbecue involves more than placing meat over fire. Searing, temperature control, resting and final seasoning are separate stages. The Dardanos Fine Foods Barbecue Set brings together smoked hot pepper, red hot pepper and basil extra virgin olive oils to create different finishing options after cooking. The products are not intended to be used on every dish at once. Each one supports a different protein, vegetable or side.
Products in the Barbecue Selection
The set contains Smoked Hot Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Red Hot Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Smoked pepper, fresh hot pepper and basil are co-pressed with olives in their respective products.
Choosing for Red Meat and Burgers
Smoked hot pepper gives steak, burgers, meatballs and ribs a deeper fire-cooked character. Let the meat rest after grilling and add the oil before serving. Reduce the quantity when the dish already contains barbecue sauce, smoked cheese or cured meat. Red hot pepper is more suitable when a cleaner, direct heat is required. It works particularly well on burgers, chicken wings and spiced potatoes.
Basil for Vegetables, Cheese and Bread
Basil olive oil offers a fresher direction for grilled tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, mushrooms and bread. Add it after cooking to barbecue plates containing mozzarella, burrata or halloumi. Basil creates contrast without weakening the impact of pepper and smoke elsewhere on the table. This prevents the menu from revolving only around meat, heat and fire, while allowing vegetable and cheese sides to retain their own identity.
Building the Correct Cooking Sequence
Reserve finishing oils for the end rather than holding them over high heat. First cook the ingredient at the correct temperature, allow it to rest briefly and then add the appropriate oil. Avoid layering several products on the same plate without a clear reason. Selecting one direction according to the main ingredient produces a cleaner result. Storage
Do not leave the oils beside the barbecue or hob between uses. Choose a cool, dry and dark cupboard with limited temperature changes. Close all caps firmly after use. Natural cloudiness or solidification may occur in cold conditions and will clear at room temperature. Adding spices, fresh herbs, water or marinade to the products is not recommended, as it may affect their storage stability.
